About Wall Nostalgia
The idea for Wall Nostalgia came about on the eight-hour drive from small-town Saskatchewan, back to Calgary, somewhere on a range road between Alsask and Drumheller...

Candice Kulcher, Founder
Originally from a farm outside of small-town Saskatchewan, I moved to Calgary at the age of 19. While taking a year off from university I began working at a company that manufactured specialty printers and to say I fell in love is an understatement…every day I got to see businesses all over the world, big and small, create beautiful products. Label printing for wine bottles, Pantone color-matching for packaging, customized shirts and apparel…the creativity was endless. I can even tell you how scratch-and-sniff stickers are made!
That led me back to Business school (where I met Geoff), and for the next 17 years I continued working in corporate marketing for global manufacturers within the Print industry. While this allowed me to have my hands in all facets of marketing, everything from tradeshows to graphic design - I never truly got to create anything myself. That’s how Wall Nostalgia was conceived…an outlet to combine my loves for personalization, design, décor, and printing.
Who is Candice today? When not working you can find me along the river getting my steps in, paddleboarding, or binging design and true crime podcasts. Pantone 3288 is my favorite color, and I prefer Adobe Illustrator over Photoshop.

Geoff Gavora, Co-Founder
Born in Calgary I spent the early years of my life on a small ranch in Priddis, Alberta. After living in Ontario and B.C. I have returned to make Calgary my forever home. During my time in Vancouver I attended art school and then returned to Calgary where I met Candice on our first day of business school. While we sometimes might seem like oil and water there is no one else I would want to grow a business with.
